Photography

If you're unsure about taking the perfect photo for a portrait or you are having difficulty getting good reference photos I will happily come to visit you to take photographs myself. I will provide this service free of charge for customers living within 15 miles of Barnsley, but further distances will incur a cost of 50p per mile and apply to both the outward and return journey. These sessions are largely dependant on the weather and may have to be postponed but there is, of course, no charge if this happens.

 

Size Guide          

The information below is a general guide to which sizes of painting are most suitable for particular subjects or compositions.

• 6 x 8 -   One head portrait only.  
• 8 x 12 - Up to 2 head portraits or 1 full body.
• 10 x 14 -   up to 2 heads or 2 full body portraits.        
• 12 x 16 -   up to 4 heads or 3 full body portraits.  
• 16 x 20 - up to 6 head portraits or 4 full bodies.

I may be able to fit more animals in a size depending on the pose / breed of the animal e.g. I may be able to fit an extra head portrait into the 10 x 14 size if it is a small breed e.g. jack russell terrier. Please contact me if you would like more guidance regarding what would be possible in your particular circumstance.
